When will Slingshot be available for MacOS?

Hello, this is definitely on the agenda, but we are not yet up to the task to give a precise timetable. In the meantime, in order to allow MAC users to use Slingshot, we have prepared a guide that explains how to simulate Windows and install the software. If you want we can send it to you by mail.

Hello, I work with a MAC and since most CNC related applications require Windows I run this within Parallels Desktop on my MAC.
I tested the Slingshot demo and this is working perfectly.
Found one issue, see topic: Slingshot .svg import with unexpected open vectors, but Springa is working on this and I think not MAC related

Thank you.

Hello, of course, I’m sending you the guide by mail

Hi there, do you have any news on the MacOS Version ?

Hello Guillet, we are currently working on planning and making changes to some features of Slingshot, so we need to finish this work before building the MACos version of the software. We don’t have an exact date yet for when it will be available but by the end of the year we should be able to give more detailed information about it.

this woud be great!!!

Can I get the guide?
Thanks

Hello there, of course we are sending you a private message

Mac version please. I hate Windows. I’m using VirtualBox. Clunky.

So far, I’ve done all CNC on a Mac with Carbide. Works well.

The sooner Slingshot is on a Mac, the happier I’ll be.

You can use VMware Fusion on your Mac and then run Windows, easily.

Thanks. I’ll give it a go.

I’ve got VMWare Fusion. Thanks for the tip. Much better than VirtualBox.

I still can’t get Slingshot to see Goliath. I don’t think Windows 10 sees the WiFi card, it thinks it’s connected by ethernet. It can see Goliath as a VPN but can’t connect to it.

Anyone got any ideas?
