You could add a button like this for each layer of a project to quick select if this layer will be used / ignored to generate the gcode. It’s really cool for optional features (like a hole or a symbol), you can design one time the project, quick setup on production and it’s easy to code

Thank you very much for this hint . We are already working on a feature, which is precisely the possibility of ignoring certain paths in the project if you wish. This new implementation will be released in the coming months.
