Looking for advice: Strategy for milling a concave space (bowl) in wood

Good day,

I’ve had my Goliath for a while now but have only used it in simple design scenarios. I’m now looking to create a bowl shape for a mold. Essentially, I need to mill the concavity of a bowl not the outside. My guess is I will need to mill concentric circles of increasing depth and the switch bits to flatten the steps; that and/or go in and sand down the steps to create a smooth surface. In any case, I’m hoping someone in the community might be able to lend some guidance.

Thanks so much,

Jason
